Terrifying Ladybirds!
Ladybirds (ladbybugs, if you're American) are best-known in their red with black spots form, so it may come as no surprise that they have crawled and fluttered their way into my Black and Red Mythos in the form of a story with that insectoid title in an anthology called Phobia!
This anthology of horrors (from Pixie Forest Publishing) is available in paperback and on the kindle and well worth reading - assuming you can stifle your fears...
